Level Up on Language and Culture: The Arab World in Video Games

A new one-credit course explores Arabic language and culture through video games, delving into topics ranging from clothing and architecture to language and dialects. Students will learn the Arabic alphabet and a range of vocabulary, analyze portrayals and gain hands-on experience integrating culture and language into interactive media.

No prior Arabic knowledge required, and Arabic students of any level are also welcome to register!

Meets weekly beginning in October
