Submit Annual Conflict of Interest/Commitment and Request of Outside Employment Forms

The U of A requires all employees to complete a Disclosure and Management of Potential Conflicts of Interest and/or Commitment form every year, per Fayetteville Policies and Procedures 404.0. Beginning Sept. 15, the annual reporting process will be managed in Workday.

In addition to annual disclosures, employees should also complete the disclosure process any time a new potential conflict of interest emerges throughout the year.

Additionally, the above policy requires all full-time (30 hours or more per week) faculty and exempt staff who receive paid compensation outside of the university to complete a Prior Approval and Management of Outside Employment form in Workday. The form should be completed before employment starts for each instance of paid compensation outside of the University. Employees should also submit the form throughout the year when a new outside employment opportunity is sought.

Employees will receive more information and training about the new process in Workday over the next month. InfoReady and paper forms will no longer be used.
