Call for More Syllabus Bank Submissions as the Fall 2023 Enrollment Period Approaches

The U of A Syllabus Bank was requested by the Associated Student Government and developed by IT Services in 2014. Using the Syllabus Bank, students can log in and search faculty-submitted syllabi to review assignments, exam schedules, attendance policies and required course materials. This knowledge remains most beneficial when students are selecting courses on UAConnect.

"It is beneficial to look at a syllabus before the first day of classes so that I can organize homework/exam dates," sophomore student Isabella Martinez said, "but when professors neglect to open Blackboard pages and syllabus documents until the class begins, it makes organization more stressful."

Because the enrollment period for next semester is upon us, the Associated Student Government encourages faculty to submit previous and current syllabi for students to review. To add syllabi as saved PDFs, faculty can log into UAConnect, navigate to the course and click the icon in the Manage Syllabus column.
