Want to become a better mentor to your graduate students and postdocs? Sign up for the Mentoring Graduate Students Workshop this semester to learn best practices to inspire, manage and professionally develop your graduate mentees. This six-session series will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. every other Wednesday starting Feb. 1. Lunch will be provided.

Effective and meaningful mentorship takes time and experience. It requires us to embrace diversity and recognize that mentorship is a journey where we can continually grow and improve. This workshop allows faculty to develop a mentoring philosophy, experiment with various mentoring methods and discuss mentoring challenges and successes with peers.

Apply today and share this opportunity with your colleagues. The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. Jan. 13. For more information and to apply, visit the Mentoring Graduate Students page.
