Tory Gaddy has been named director of development for the U of A College of Education and Health Professions

In this role, she will manage a growing portfolio of major gifts, cultivate new donor relationships and assist in fundraising in support of the college.

"Tory has an extensive background in development and has demonstrated outstanding leadership in her various roles at the university over the past decade," said Kate Mamiseishvili, interim dean of the College of Education and Health Professions. "We're excited to welcome her to our team. I look forward to working with her to help our college grow and thrive."

Gaddy was most recently the director of development and external relations for the School of Law, where she successfully led efforts during Campaign Arkansas, which led to a 400 percent increase in private scholarship support. She played an integral role in securing funding for the Public Service Fellowship Program established in 2019. Gaddy joined the U of A in 2012 and served in positions within central development and the College of Engineering. She moved to the law school in 2015 and was promoted to associate director in 2017. Within a year, she was named to the director's role in the school.

"I was drawn to the College of Education and Health Professions because of its focus on the care fields. Education and health are major cornerstones of any community, and I am thrilled for the opportunity to work with Dean Mamiseishvili to advance the college's fundraising goals."

A Fayetteville native, Gaddy holds a bachelor's degree in English from the U of A Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences.

Gaddy replaces Jamie Banks, who accepted a position at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences after 19 years in the College of Education and Health Professions.
