Faculty are invited to a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program series offered by the Office for Faculty Affairs.

John Pijanowski, who has recently completed his level one MBSR teacher training through Brown University, will lead the sessions in virtual and in-person formats.

Consider joining us for in-person session at noon or online sessions at 3 p.m. on the following Fridays:

  • April 8, April 15, April 22 and April 29.

Sign up for the first session.

Feel free to contact Pijanowski with questions at jpijanow@uark.edu

As part of our ongoing effort to curate resources for our faculty wellbeing initiative, we have worked with Mullins Library to provide you with a collection of readings that focus on the research supporting Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, guides for practicing mindfulness and reflections on stress reduction from leading authors in the field.

We look forward to sharing our MBSR practice with you. You can access the MBSR resources here.
