Read the December Issue of the Student Affairs Bulletin
The Student Affairs Bulletin is the official blog from the Division of Student Affairs. Each issue features stories about what is happening in Student Affairs at the University of Arkansas. The stories are written by staff and students working in the division and include both feature and news stories.
The December issue was sent to subscribers on Saturday, Dec. 5. This issue features a story about the real college experience during COVID. Despite the pandemic students have had lots of opportunities to have a real college experience with in-person activities and events, and we have a rundown of some of those opportunities. We also have a story about U of A Cares and the Student Emergency Fund. This small team in the Dean of Student office helps students deal with loss of jobs, other financial difficulties, and about anything that could cause a student to not be able to pursue their education.
Each issue also has a Q&A with a staff member and a student employee from the Division of Student Affairs. This issue's Q&A are with staff and students in the Division of Student Affairs main office suite.
The Bulletin Newsletter is sent to subscribers the first Saturday of the month, with 8-10 newsletters each year. If you would like to receive the Student Affairs Bulletin Newsletter please send an email with the subject line "Subscribe" to the executive director of communications for Student Affairs Scott Flanagin, sflanagi@uark.edu
