Be Heard, Win Prizes at the Student Tech Forum, Oct. 6

Want to tell campus leadership what you really think about technology at the University of Arkansas? IT Services want to see you at the Student Technology Forum in Hillside Auditorium 202 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, during the first-annual Tech Week. Early adopters and the tech-challenged alike are welcome at the forum. Students can ask questions, learn about upcoming technology changes and voice their opinions.

From now until Oct. 9, students can complete an online survey at http://bit.ly/2d1fZi2 and enter to win a Dell Venue 8 tablet. Student survey responses are essential in helping campus leadership understand how to use technology more effectively to benefit students.

Students who attend the Oct. 6 forum will also have a chance to win prizes, including gift cards and a Dell XPS 13 laptop. Papa John’s pizza will be provided at a reception in the Hillside Auditorium lounge starting at 5:30 p.m.

Technology is a critical part of an undergraduate student’s experience in higher education. Student survey responses help university leadership understand how to use and apply technology more effectively to benefit students. The Office of the Chief Information Officer is committed to using student feedback to make decisions about technology services at the university. No registration is required.
