New User Checklist at its.uark.edu

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- The New User Checklist and IT Status Monitor are new features on the redesigned IT Services site that launched this week.

By clicking on Get Started at its.uark.edu, new students, faculty and staff can receive a personalized set of linked instructions to get started with technology at the University of Arkansas. After providing a few details about their devices, operating systems and locations, links are provided via email or on the Web in a printer-friendly format.

Users can also quickly check the current status and health of the campus network, Blackboard Learn, ISIS and other services through the IT Status Monitor on the left. The Alert Calendar provides a list of current and upcoming scheduled maintenance and can be added to an Outlook calendar.

The new website is managed using OmniUpdate, the new university content management system, and uses the new university Web template collaboratively designed by developers across campus.
