Parent & Family Programs in the office of New Student & Family Programs will launch its fourth regional parents club in Kansas City, Mo. With clubs currently established in Dallas-Fort Worth, Little Rock and Northwest Arkansas, the Kansas City Regional Parents Club will officially launch on Nov. 21 with a kick-off event at the Sheraton Suites – Country Club Plaza.

New Student & Family Programs initiated the regional parents clubs in 2011 as a way to engage parents and families in their hometown environments, keeping them connected to fellow Razorback parents and the University of Arkansas. Regional parents clubs gather for meet-and-greets, athletic watch parties, send-off parties, guest speakers, and more. Any parent or guardian of a University of Arkansas undergraduate student may join a regional parents club.

"We are extremely excited to launch our newest regional parents club in Kansas City. Many dedicated Razorbacks call Kansas City home and we look forward to seeing this club grow and support their U of A students," said Alison Leach, assistant director of Parent & Family Programs.
