New Library Service Adds Course Reserves to Blackboard

New Library Service Adds Course Reserves to Blackboard
Photo Submitted

This fall the University of Arkansas Libraries will provide all electronic course reserve materials through Blackboard. This service allows students to access assigned chapters and articles directly from their Blackboard classes, without the use of special library course reserve passwords.

After a faculty member requests items for reserve, library staff will insert the material directly into the Blackboard class. You make the request—the Libraries handle the rest!

Print, DVD, or CD reserves will be housed at the service desks in Mullins and the branch libraries as appropriate. Materials, both physical and electronic, may be requested in person or online.

The Libraries will work with Blackboard administrators to ensure that a Blackboard classroom is available for all faculty desiring electronic course reserves.

Library staff look forward to working with faculty through this transition.
