FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas is holding the Technology Awareness Program (TAP), a one-week residency program designed to introduce minority high school students to the field of information systems and other areas of business through a carefully tailored curriculum. During the week, students will learn how to incorporate technology into all aspects of their work as they develop their research, teamwork, communication, and oral presentation skills. Students will prepare and present a challenging team project to Walton College faculty and staff. In addition, the participants will have opportunities to interact with minority professionals from business and government, as well as visit and observe them in their work environments.
