This position reports to Hendrix.

"I am extremely pleased that Alan will be joining the development staff," said Sandra K. Edwards, associate vice chancellor for university development. Much of our success can be attributed to the generosity of corporations and foundations. Alan brings the support we need to further the fine efforts of the development staff."

Altom said, "I’m happy to be joining the University of Arkansas development team. There’s so much potential to expand the support base for the University’s academic programs through corporate and foundation support and I’m looking forward to assisting the efforts already under way in this important area."
