Copies of the brand-new cookbook Eat Like the Hogs: A Collection of Favorite Recipes from Razorback Greats will be available for purchase at the McIlroy House on the U of A campus from Monday, Dec. 8, through Friday, Dec. 12.
Edited by Karen Van Horn and Becky Bull, Eat Like the Hogs makes a perfect Christmas gift for any Razorback fan. Inside, you'll find more than 250 favorite recipes from U of A Athletics legends. Student-athletes and coaches from all 19 Razorback sports share the dishes they love most—paired with personal stories and historic photos that bring Razorback history to life. Enjoy everything from U. S. Reed's Jamaican Oxtail Stew to Darren McFadden's Country Boy Cooked Rabbit and Rice to Sandi Morris' Tortellini Soup.
"Eat Like the Hogs is a one-of-a-kind cookbook that brings Razorback pride to the table with nearly 300 beloved recipes straight from the kitchens of University of Arkansas legends," said former Razorback and Food Network Chef Eddie Jackson. The McIlroy House—home of the University of Arkansas Press—is located at 105 N. McIlroy Ave. on campus, across from the Business Administration Building and behind Yocum Hall. Eat Like the Hogs will be on sale each day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for $45.
