On Thursday, Dec. 4, the World Languages and Digital Humanities (WLDH) Studio will hold its final event of the fall semester: "Using AI in the Classroom," a workshop on meaningfully integrating artificial intelligence (AI) using university-approved tools.

The workshop will take place in JBHT 207 starting at 5 p.m. and is open to all faculty and graduate students. Discover how to intentionally integrate AI approaches in the classroom through several practical activities. If possible, bring a device on which you can use Copilot for this hands-on session on integrating AI into the language and culture classroom.

Earlier this semester, the WLDH Studio hosted "AI Literacy," a panel discussion of the recent university's AI Guidelines. This workshop featured Chase Rainwater, professor of industrial engineering and Provost Fellow for Artificial Intelligence; Edward Holland, associate professor of geosciences and TFSC co-director; Ken Muessig, instructional design manager at Global Campus; and Amalie Holland, instructional designer at Global Campus. In the upcoming workshop on Using AI in the Classroom, attendees build on the knowledge from AI Literacy and enhance their ability to make use of AI tools in the classroom.

We hope you can join us at the WLDH Studio for this final event of the semester!
