School of Art Extends Promotion to See Crystal Bridges Exhibition for Free
The University of Arkansas School of Art, housed in the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences, is extending its free ticket promotion for the Get in the Game: Sports, Art, Culture exhibition at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. Due to increased campus interest, the offer will continue to be available through Dec. 31, 2025.
All university faculty, staff and students can reserve up to two free tickets using their UARK email address and the promo code "UAGAME" on the Crystal Bridges exhibition site for any date between now and the end of the year.
The exhibition, organized by the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, explores the intersection of sports, art and culture through interactive installations to demonstrate how contemporary artists respond to the drive, passion, culture and systems surrounding games — and who gets to play them. Highlights include a portrait capturing swimmer Diana Nyad's determination, a reenactment of tennis champion Billie Jean King's legendary Battle of the Sexes match and a tribute to Arkansas-born NBA superstar Scottie Pippen.
"This opportunity for faculty and staff to experience the exhibition for free is one of many examples of the School of Art's partnership with Crystal Bridges," said Kayla Crenshaw, chief of staff and director of communications. "The incredible staff at Crystal Bridges and the Momentary are always seeking ways to increase access and collaboration between our institutions. We hope this experience sparks new ideas for future partnerships."
Faculty, staff, registered student organizations and other campus groups can also request transportation funding from the School of Art to visit Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and the Momentary. This support runs throughout the school year and is designed to foster experiential learning, cross-disciplinary collaboration and access to world-class museums.
"Expanding access to the arts is part of the school's core mission, and we hope these initiatives enrich learning while bringing the joy of art to individuals across campus," said Rachel Debuque, director of the School of Art.
"Fulbright College is proud to offer these services to our students, faculty and staff," said Brian E. Raines, dean of the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences. "Firsthand engagement with art is a vital part of our students' education, and we're incredibly fortunate to have renowned institutions like Crystal Bridges and the Momentary right in our own backyard."
Crystal Bridges houses a collection of American art spanning five centuries. The Momentary is a multidisciplinary space for visual arts, performing arts, culinary experiences, festivals and artists-in-residence. Together, they serve as cultural anchors for Northwest Arkansas and key collaborators for the Fulbright College, the School of Art and other units across campus.
Shuttle services must be coordinated by the hosting group, and early submissions are encouraged. Requests can be made on the School of Art website.
