Doctoral Student Researches Planetary Climates and Origins of Life

When Shelby Osborne was considering where to attend graduate school to pursue her passion for researching climate change and earth system dynamics, she was drawn to the University of Arkansas' Environmental Dynamics interdisciplinary program. In her doctoral program, Osborne studies the basic building blocks of life and how they react to salty environments, research that helps inform how prebiotic ingredients could lead to multicellular life.
