Families, Community Invited to Old Main Open House Oct. 18
Families, friends and community members are invited to drop by the U of A's iconic Old Main from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct.18, for an open house.
During the open house, you'll have the opportunity to tour our iconic Old Main, guided by our student ambassadors, and learn more about the academic, research, teaching and service initiatives that make our college unique. It's also a great chance to meet our dean and college leaders, who are eager to connect with you and share how we support student's success.
Old Main, the cornerstone of the U of A, was built between 1873 and 1875, then underwent a meticulous renovation and rededication in 1991. It now stands as the proud home of the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences, including several academic departments and the college's Dean's Office.
The building also features the Clock Room, which showcases the original bell and clockwork from the historic building.
RSVPs to the event are encouraged. Learn more and RSVP.
