A Renewed Digital Presence for the Honors College

The Honors College's new website offers intuitive pathways for users to find information relevant to them, including global experiences, for instance.
The U of A Honors College has launched a new website with improved functionality, audience-specific information filters, streamlined access to the Honors Student Hub and an updated design.
The site, available at honors.uark.edu, provides intuitive pathways for users to find information relevant to them, presented in a scholarly, modern aesthetic.
"Scanning the online presence of top design schools in the U.S., the Honors College selected a vibrant and interactive digital presence to encapsulate best the ambition of our honors students in multiple arenas—international education, career trajectory, academics, research and global studies," said Lynda Coon, dean of the Honors College. "I do hope you will enjoy this refresh of honors.uark.edu!"
New features include:
-
Navigation: The menu has been reorganized into user-focused categories that offer clearer, more intuitive pathways.
-
Audience segmentation: Visitors can now select their audience type—prospective student, current student, faculty/staff or alum—to quickly access tailored information and resources.
-
Visual design: The updated look features modern layouts, fresh visuals and dynamic text and imagery.
-
Integrated resources: The site connects directly with the campus calendar, directory, Honors Student Hub and other university systems to keep information current.
As one of the largest and best-resourced honors colleges in the nation, the redesign reflects the college's commitment to innovation, both in the seminar room and in its digital presence.
The site was developed in partnership with the Fayetteville-based design firm Red Rooster Design and University Relations.
