U of A Press Unveils Redesigned Website
The University of Arkansas Press has launched a newly redesigned website, offering better accessibility, improved search engine, refined organization and an attractive and updated design.
The press' new website, available at uapress.com, streamlines the way readers explore the press' catalog of new and backlist titles, the way prospective authors learn about the press' editorial programs and submit manuscripts, access to review and desk copies, and information about news, publicity and events. The new website honors the press' rich history of publishing peer-reviewed scholarship and literature of enduring value.
Designed in collaboration with University Relations and the Fayetteville-based firm Red Rooster Design, the new site reflects a shared commitment to innovation and community. Red Rooster, co-owned by Brad and Ali Williams, brings deep experience in digital design for creative and educational institutions.
"This redesign reflects the evolving needs of our readers and partners," said Mike Bieker, director of the U of A Press. "We're proud to offer a more modern, intuitive platform that makes it easier and more enjoyable to discover and support the work of our authors."
Highlights of the new site include:
- Smarter search for faster, more relevant results
- Streamlined navigation and full mobile responsiveness
- A fresh visual design aligned with the U of A brand
- A revamped blog featuring news, author interviews and behind-the-scenes stories
