GPSC September 2024 Policy Dialogue Thursday

The U of A Graduate and Professional Student Congress cordially invites all graduate students to our September Policy dialogue scheduled to start at 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 5, via Zoom. 

Policy Dialogue is a forum where graduate and professional students interface with university administrators/experts to discuss pertinent topics that affect their wellbeing and success on campus. It is also an opportunity for GPSC members to explore possible areas of partnerships with campus organizations/units to improve service delivery and graduate students' experience.

The September dialogue focuses on: Improving Access to Health and Mental Health Services on Campus and Support for Students With Disabilities. The speakers include:

  • 5-5:30 p.m. — Josette Cline, Ph.D., chair of the Well Being Task Force and director of the Counseling and Psychiatric Services unit.
    Topic: Graduate students and health (mental) services on campus 
  • 5:30-6 p.m. — Jennifer Michaud, director, Center for Educational Access
    Topic: Advocating for students with disabilities; the roles of Center for Educational Access
  • 6 p.m. — Q&A
