Faculty Applause Nominations Due March 15
Associated Student Government

The Associated Student Government, Office of Faculty Affairs and Office of Career Connections are currently accepting Faculty Applause nominations. This nomination allows you to recognize a faculty member who has made a lasting impact on your time at the U of A.

This could be a professor who has gone above and beyond to enhance your classroom experience, pioneered an innovative teaching technique to engage students, connected you to career-enhancing resources or challenged you to work hard. If you would like to nominate a professor for their contributions, please take a moment and fill out the short nomination form linked here.

The form will be open until noon on Friday, March 15. Winning faculty members will be recognized during Faculty Appreciation Week occurring April 8-12.

This year, a second award, the Career Advocate Award, has been added. This award is designed to honor faculty members who intentionally embed career education and resources into their classes, offer support to students to fulfill their career interests and serve as student career advocates.

Nominations will be scored based on the significant contributions the nominee made to the nominator's personal development, contributions to their professional development, implementation of innovative teaching/mentorship techniques and additional examples of the nominee's special achievements in or out of the classroom.

Any questions about nominations should be directed toward Associated Student Government Vice President Hailey Hoog at asgvp@uark.edu.

This application is sponsored by Associated Student Government and is supported by the Student Activities Fee. Associated Student Government is a program in the Division of Student Affairs.
