Tina Paul Named Interim Director for Human Resources Partners, Employee Relations and Workforce Planning
U of A Chief People Officer Michelle Hargis Wolfe has announced that Tina Paul will serve as interim human resources (HR) director for Workforce Planning, HR Partners and Employee Relations. This role encompasses much of the work previously performed by Eunice Alberson.
Paul will continue her current duties as the HR partner for the College of Engineering while also representing HR on employee relations matters across the institution and assisting units with workforce planning and recruiting. She will be actively involved in business process documentation and streamlining Workday and onboarding processes with the Department of User Solutions.
"With more than 20 years in higher education, Tina is uniquely positioned to lead our team through her experience working with the Higher Learning Commision and other accrediting agencies, state legislators and the Arkansas Department of Higher Education - along with the familiarity with our university that she has gained since being at the U of A," Wolfe said. "We are excited to expand Tina's role as part of our HR team and are confident she will continue to provide excellent service to our campus community."
Prior to her appointment at the U of A in 2020, Paul served in a variety of roles at Northwest Arkansas Community College and University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville (UACCB). At UACCB, she played a key role in student success by increasing the amount of scholarship dollars awarded each year and served as the liaison to the U of A Board of Trustees and U of A System office.
Paul earned a bachelor's degree in communications with an emphasis in public relations from Arkansas State University and is a Certified HR Professional through the Society of Human Resources Management.
