Please join the Service Learning Initiative on March 8 from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. for our Lunch and Learn panel discussion. This semester's topic is how to get started with leading student thesis hours.

This event is for faculty only and will be held in 258 Gearhart Hall (Honors College). Lunch will be served at 11 a.m. The panel discussion will be led by award-winning service learning faculty: Lisa Bowers, Rogelio Garcia Contreras and Gabriel Diaz Montemayor. Please RSVP to svclrn01@uark.edu

About the Service Learning Initiative: The Service Learning Initiative is a joint initiative of the U of A Provost's Office and the Honors College with the purpose of formalizing and expanding service learning opportunities on campus. Since 2014, when the initiative was launched, more than 150 courses have been designated as Service Learning. Each semester, faculty and course instructors are encouraged to apply for Service Learning course designation.
