Following a year in which nearly all live holiday music concerts were cancelled, the U of A Schola Cantorum returns to the stage with three performances of "A Child's Christmas in Wales" on Nov. 30, Dec. 2 and Dec. 4 throughout the state.

The concert is a synthesis of music and spoken word, with Professor Henry Runkles reading the famous Dylan Thomas story while the Schola Cantorum, directed by Stephen Caldwell, interpolates music into the action. The concert runs approximately 70 uninterupted minutes and is suitable for people of all ages.

Nov. 30, 7:30 p.m., in the Anthony Chapel at the Garvan Woodland Gardens, Hot Springs, Arkansas. $10

Dec. 2, 7:30 p.m., at the Faulkner Performing Arts Center, Fayetteville, Arkansas. Free admission, but tickets required.

Dec. 4, 7:30 p.m., at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Batesville, Arkansas. Free admission, no tickets required.
