Candidates for the position of dean of University Libraries will be on campus May 13, 17 and 20 to meet with faculty, staff and administrators and to give public presentations answering the question: "How do you see University Libraries adding value to the broader mission of the University of Arkansas and higher education over the next three-to-five years?"

Jason Battles, deputy university librarian at the University of Georgia, will be the first candidate to present at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, May 13, in the School of Law's E.J. Ball Courtroom. His 25-minute presentation will be followed by a 30-minute question-and-answer session moderated by Lynda Coon, interim dean of University Libraries and chair of the search committee. All who attend in person are required to wear face coverings and practice social distancing. The presentation will also be streamed live on Zoom

A brief bio for Battles is available online, as is a candidate evaluation form and schedule.

For questions about the search process, contact Coon at llcoon@uark.edu.
