Collaboration can be a challenge on our campus, where parking is tight, the weather is unpredictable, and the hills... Oh, the hills.

IT Services is working to remove these barriers with exciting new technology. Starting this week, students, faculty and staff have access to Cisco Spark and Cisco WebEx, two industry leaders in digital collaboration.

WebEx enables users to host or join real-time video conferences for a wide range of meeting and event sizes, both on and off campus. Thanks to WebEx's integration with Microsoft Outlook, scheduling meetings is easier than ever. Users can take advantage of WebEx's others features including recording, screen sharing, multiple presenters and more. Meetings can be joined by phone, desktop, web or mobile app, allowing users to access and enjoy WebEx's extensive features from anywhere.

Spark is perfect for working with colleagues, whether it be across campus or across the country. Users can create their own searchable, shareable and customized Spark team for group projects, clubs and organizations, study groups and more. Within these teams, users have the option to chat, conduct voice and video conferencing, and design and edit documents. Spark is accessible through the web, desktop or mobile app, making it the perfect portable space for collaboration.

Don't forget about Box, a cloud-based file storage and collaboration platform that grows with users, or their department's, needs. With Box, documents can be created, edited and shared using permission levels that can be applied to each member of your team. Access Box through the web or download the application on the device of your choice.
