FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — KXUA-FM, 88.3, the University of
Arkansas’s student radio station, is offering free 10- to 20-second
advertisement spots free of charge to registered student organizations at the
University.
By offering this service, KXUA hopes to provide these student organizations with a new avenue for increasing visibility and interest in their activities. The volunteer DJs at KXUA will read two announcements an hour on the air.
To submit a request for an on-air announcement, please visit the KXUA website and click on the “Submit a PSA” link near the top of the page. KXUA staff will review all requests and approve them based on these guidelines:
- Timeliness. Requests must be submitted no less than 10 days before an event
- Relevance. Requests must refer to an event/activity that is relevant to the U of A community
- Status. The registered student organization must be in “active” status with the Office of Student Activities.
Announcements will run periodically from the date they are approved until the date of the event. Please be considerate of other student organizations when submitting requests. KXUA will approve a maximum of four requests per registered student organization per academic year.
