Global Campus Offers Computer Training Classes in Summer to Enhance Microsoft Application Skills

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Registration is now open for one-day computer classes this summer for Microsoft applications offered through the Global Campus in Fayetteville, beginning Friday, May 18.

Mike Sypult, coordinator of computer training, and instructor Starlyn Danley will teach nine classes in Microsoft Access, Excel, and PowerPoint for beginners and experts who want to enhance their skills. Classes will be offered through Aug. 3 in Room 302 at the Global Campus (School of Continuing Education and Academic Outreach), 2 E. Center St., on the downtown Fayetteville square.

“The University of Arkansas Global Campus computer training network offers classes to meet the needs of today’s businesses and to provide professionals with the skills they need to succeed,” Sypult said. “What makes our training classes stand out from other services is our attention to individual students and our dedication to quality and convenience.”

Sypult and Danley, both Microsoft-certified instructors, will provide hands-on, instructor-led training courses that maintain a low student-to-teacher ratio. Participants will use Microsoft Office specialist-approved courseware. The cost is $159 per class, but University of Arkansas faculty and staff pay only $99 per class.
