Three sessions of a workshop will be conducted for students on preparing data and high-resolution images for publication in research papers, honors theses and journal articles.

The workshop is required for students submitting papers to Discovery, the student journal of Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences.

The three sessions to choose from include:

  • Thursday, Jan. 26, 1-2:20 p.m.
  • Friday, Jan. 27, 3:30-4:50 p.m.
  • Thursday, Feb. 2, 1-2:20 p.m.

The workshops will be held in AFLS B-108 Computer Lab. Students should bring a jump drive, data and images.

Each session will cover similar information. Students must email Gail Halleck at ghalleck@uark.edu and let her know which session you plan to attend as space will be limited.

The workshop will be led by Leslie Edgar, assistant professor of agricultural communications in the department of agricultural and extension education, with assistance of Gail Halleck, managing editor of Discovery journal.
