The U of A chapter of Young Democrats is hosting its introductory meeting Monday to share its plans for the semester and ways to get involved with Democratic politics on and off campus.

Max Deitchler, a candidate for state representative (District 20 in Fayetteville), will be joining us. Deitchler is an attorney and U of A Law School graduate who has served 11 years on the Washington County Election Commission, opening a polling place on campus. A former Young Democrat, he also worked on presidential campaigns after college and is passionate about increasing youth participation in politics!

When: Monday, Sept. 8, at 5 p.m.

The U of A Young Democrats chapter is dedicated to empowering young people to actively participate in the democratic process and promote progressive ideals, cultivating the next generation of Democratic leaders and advocates.
