Student Organization Outreach and Involvement Experience (SOOIE), in conjunction with Student Involvement and Leadership, will host Hillfest and Razorbash this upcoming fall during the first week of classes. The two events serve as informational-type fairs designed to help students learn more about campus and the Northwest Arkansas community. Registration for Hillfest opens at 9 a.m. today, Monday, July 21.

Hillfest is a fair for students to meet campus offices/departments and registered student organizations (RSOs). The event will be Monday, Aug. 18, on the Arkansas Union Mall from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Students will learn how they can join student-led organizations, access resources to help them succeed as a student at the U of A and so much more. The event will also feature the Associated Student Government Welcome Back Cookout.

Campus departments and RSOs active for 2025-2026 academic year are invited to register for Hillfest at no cost. Those interested can visit the Hillfest registration site and register beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, July 21. Potential participants must use a UARK email log-in (please note that UARK email logins can only be used to register campus departments or RSOs). Tables are limited and will be granted on a first-registered, first-served basis.

Razorbash is a fair for students to engage with local businesses and non-profit organizations around Northwest Arkansas. This event traditionally is held on the third day of classes, which will be Wednesday, Aug. 20, on the Arkansas Union Mall from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be plenty of free food, free swag, discounts to businesses, volunteer opportunities, games, music and much more.

Local businesses and community groups will register for Razorbash at a cost of $350 for businesses and $250 for non-profits. Those interested can visit the Razorbash registration site and register. Off-campus businesses and non-profit organizations who have not previously logged in to the registration site will have to complete a brief registration form, followed by a confirmation email. Once the email is confirmed, you will be able to register for the event. Please note that your first name, last name, email address and phone number will be your log-in for future visits, so be sure to record that information.
