IT Services is looking to recognize individuals who work in IT for their outstanding service to the university. These awards are open to all campus IT staff.

Awards will be given for student support, research support, and process improvement and efficiency. Details for each award can be found below.

All faculty, staff and students are encouraged to submit nominations to the IT Campus Pillar Award Nomination form for each of the three categories by 5 p.m. on July 23. Award recipients will be recognized at the Campus IT Meeting later this month.

Student Support Pillar Award: This award emphasizes support in teaching and learning spaces to increase innovation and faculty excellence. It should highlight how this person "helps students grow, contribute and thrive throughout their lives and in their communities from matriculation to graduation."

Research Support Pillar Award: This award emphasizes support in the research space that increases the ability for faculty to focus on research and should highlight how this person "promote[s] scientific inquiry, knowledge creation and creative works that integrate and coordinate education, research and service activities."

Process Improvement/Efficiency Pillar Award: This award emphasizes support for staff and faculty in their business processes and should highlight how this person fosters a work environment that allows for continuous improvement and collaboration.

The window to nominate staff for these awards closes at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 23.
