Main Hill Media Continues Multi-Year Winning Streak

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Main Hill Media, the U of A's student-run advertising agency, made a remarkable debut at the David L. Adams Apple Awards, winning three top honors at the College Media Association's Spring Conference in New York City.

Main Hill Media secured first place in Best Multimedia Ad Campaign and Best Single-Media Ad, as well as earning the Big Apple in Division 1 award, distinguishing their submission as the most outstanding in their division.

AWARD-WINNING WORK

  • Best Multimedia Ad Campaign — first place, Midwest Dairy ad campaign — Riley Atkinson, Ella Miller and Livia Burgy
  • Best Single-Media Ad — first place, A Fitness Experience ad — Riley Craig and Parker Post
  • The Big Apple, Division 1 — Main Hill Media Staff

"This is an incredible achievement from the storied Main Hill team," said Bret Schulte, director of the School of Journalism and Strategic Media. "Winning these awards in their first year competing is a testament to our students' creativity, hard work and exceptional professionalism."

The David L. Adams Apple Awards recognize the best in collegiate media across the country, with a total of 413 entries in 2025. This year, CMA introduced the Big Apple Awards, where first-place winners competed head-to-head to determine the most outstanding submission in each of the four divisions.

In addition to their competitive success, Main Hill Media members Riley Atkinson and Lauren Beavers shared their expertise by presenting two sessions at the conference: "How to Land Your Dream Internship" and "How to Generate Revenue for Student media in creative ways."
