The National Council describes Youth Mental Health First Aid as an evidence-based, early-intervention course that teaches participants about mental health and substance use challenges. This is a great opportunity for leadership and advocacy.
The Southern Alliance for Youth Mental Health is a collaborative initiative between the U of A, University of Mississippi and University of Alabama. This effort is funded by a grant awarded by the Office of National Drug Control Policy.
