COACHE Faculty Job Satisfaction Survey Launches This Week
The U of A is participating in the Collaborative on Academic Careers in Higher Education (COACHE) survey, administered by the Harvard Graduate School of Education. This survey provides faculty with the opportunity to share feedback related to job satisfaction at the university and is open to all faculty who have been with the U of A for three years or more. The survey launches this week.
"Our faculty's participation in the COACHE survey is vital and will help us ensure our faculty have the resources they need to succeed in their research, scholarship and teaching," said Provost Terry Martin. "This survey will also help us analyze overall job satisfaction and see what we are doing well and where we can improve."
The 2025 COACHE survey will allow the University of Arkansas to evaluate faculty job satisfaction as compared to its peer institutions. Information gained from this survey will be used to help the university retain and attract the best faculty talent, increase the overall satisfaction of current faculty and reinforce the university's strategic priority of enhancing its status as an employer of choice.
Eligible faculty will receive a unique survey link in an email from COACHE in early February. The survey will remain active until early April and will take about 25 minutes to complete. The COACHE survey is completely confidential and will be administered through the COACHE project team at Harvard. Survey results will be shared with the university this summer.
