The Student Employment team within the Offices of Career Connections is now accepting nominations for the Student Employee of the Quarter Award. Each quarter, an outstanding undergraduate or graduate student will be chosen for each category who goes above and beyond in their campus roles.
Consider nominating a student employee who meets one or more of the following criteria:
- Community Service - Makes a lasting positive impact on the university and broader community through their work and encourages others to engage in service.
- Social Impact and Belonging - Promotes inclusion and positive change by demonstrating empathy, compassion and a commitment to creating a welcoming environment.
- Leadership - Leads by example, builds trust, motivates others and supports peers through initiative, mentorship and openness to new ideas.
- Innovation - Uses innovative ideas to develop creative solutions to workplace challenges and improve efficiency and decision-making.
- Critical Thinking - Manages multiple responsibilities by analyzing information from various sources and using sound judgment to solve problems in fast-paced environments.
- Hogspitality - Demonstrates excellence in customer service through positive interactions, effective communication and a willingness to go above and beyond to assist others.
To submit nominations, please fill out the Qualtrics nomination form below by 5 p.m. Oct. 15, 2026, to nominate a student for the Aug. 1 - Oct. 15 time period.
Once the nomination period closes, a committee will review nominations and select the winners. Winners will be notified, receive an award and be featured on the Student Employment website.
