Charlie Alison, of University Relations, guides OLLI participants on a historic tour of the University of Arkansas campus.
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at the University of Arkansas brings excitement, enrichment, and connection to the community with nearly 100 dynamic courses designed to inspire and engage adults aged 50 and better. Whether you're curious about art, passionate about history, eager to stay active, or keen to tackle modern challenges, OLLI's spring lineup offers something for everyone!
The season officially begins the week of Feb. 17, with a fascinating class on Nelson Hackett's quest for freedom and its impact on human rights—a powerful reminder of resilience and justice. Dive into topics that range from local history and literature to yoga and hiking and explore the ever-changing world with courses covering current events like property taxes, online scams, and foreign policy.
Looking for something truly unique? Join the "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" experience with an exclusive tour of Razorback baseball facilities followed by a spring game. Or explore creativity and innovation during a behind-the-scenes tour of the stunning art collection at Tyson Corporate Headquarters.
Start your journey at the OLLI Open House from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2, at OLLI Headquarters, located at 481 S. Shiloh Drive in Fayetteville. Meet instructors, preview upcoming classes, and discover how OLLI can enrich your life.
Online registration opens Feb. 4 for current members and Feb. 10 for the general public. Most programs are hosted at OLLI Headquarters, but you'll also find regional day trips and online learning opportunities. The spring catalog is available online at olli.uark.edu or grab a printed copy at the OLLI office.
