ARAB 10106 Immersive Arabic I

ARAB 1100V Around the Arab World in Eight Days
Discover the Arab world in just eight days with ARAB 1100V Special Topics! This one-credit course, offered in the second eight-week session in spring 2025 (March 5 to May 1), provides a comprehensive exploration of Arab culture. From language and literature to music and cuisine, students will delve into the rich tapestry of Arab traditions, guided by our expert team of four Arabic faculty members.

ARAB 41003 Arab Cinema
Join us for a fascinating journey across the Arab world by exploring the rich history and diverse cultures of the region through Arab film! This course is cross-listed between Arabic, Middle East Studies (MEST 40003) and Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies (CLCS 5750V). All movies will have English subtitles, and no prerequisite or Arabic is required. This course also satisfies credit towards the major in Arabic and the major and minor in Middle East Studies.
