Open Enrollment Begins Oct. 21 for Benefits Eligible Employees

The annual benefits open enrollment period for U of A employees to select plans for 2025 will begin on Oct. 21 and will close at 5 p.m. on Nov. 4. Employees will receive an open enrollment task in their Workday inbox. Benefits not included in open enrollment can be managed through the "benefits and pay" tab in Workday. While most benefit selections are automatically re-enrolled, all employees interested in the following benefits must manually re-enroll:  

  • Healthcare Flexible Spending 

  • Dependent Care Flexible Spending 

  • Critical Illness  

  • UMR Live Well Reward$ Wellness Program (through the UMR website) 

The Human Resources Benefits team will host open enrollment information sessions leading up to the enrollment period. Employees with questions about their benefits selections are encouraged to register via the Employee Development Program calendar.  

Sessions will be held as follows:  

Virtual via Microsoft Teams:

  • Oct. 1, 2024 - 9 to 10:30 a.m.  

  • Oct. 3, 2024 - 3 to 4:30 p.m.  

  • Oct. 8, 2024 - 10 to 11:30 a.m. and 2 to 3:30 p.m.  

  • Oct. 15, 2024 - 8:30 to 10 a.m. and 3 to 5 p.m.  

  • Oct. 16, 2024 - 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.  

In Person UPTW 215:

  • Oct. 7, 2024- 9 to 10:30 a.m. 

In Person Mullins 453:

  • Oct. 10, 2024 - 8 to 9:30 a.m. 

  • Oct. 10, 2024 - 10 to 11:30 a.m. 

  • Oct. 14, 2024 - 8 to 9:30 a.m. 

  • Oct. 14, 2024 - 10 to 11:30 a.m. 

  • Oct. 18, 2024 - 12:30 to 2 p.m. 

  • Oct. 18, 2024 - 2:30 to 4 p.m. 

Spanish-Language Sessions:

  • Oct. 10, 2024 - 1:30 to 3 p.m. at FAMA Custodial Annex Building 

  • Oct. 16, 2024 - 1:30 to 3 p.m. at Housing Futrall Hall room 157
