October is National Cybersecurity Awareness Month (NCSAM)! Understanding the importance of cybersecurity and implementing cyber safe practices can safeguard personal information from unauthorized access, theft and damage. IT Services and its dedicated staff are committed to ensuring campus has the knowledge and resources to stay safe online.

Throughout October, there will be several opportunities to learn more about cybersecurity and how to protect yourself online. The IT Security Office will be hosting tables in the Arkansas Union with helpful information and swag, as well as live and virtual presentations with speakers from the U of A, KnowBe4 and CISA

"Cybersecurity is a fundamental part of our commitment to safeguarding the academic and personal integrity of our students, faculty and staff," said Chief Information Security Officer Stephen Tycer. "In today's digital age, going the extra mile to protect your information is crucial to maintaining the privacy and security of your data."
