Bumpers College Selects 20 Students From 10 Majors to Serve as 2024-25 Ambassadors
Bumpers College ambassadors promote, empower and inspire the Bumpers College family by being inclusive, knowledgeable and resourceful, professional and approachable, appreciating diversity, showing the family aspect of the college and being servant leaders.
Twenty students from across the college have been selected to serve as 2024-25 ambassadors for U of A's Dale Bumpers College of Agricultural, Food and Life Sciences.
Following an application and interview process, they were selected to work both on-campus and off-campus recruiting events, to assist with Dean's Office and college-wide events, serve as representatives of the college, help with retention efforts and connecting with students, assist in other recruiting functions, and share the philosophy and benefits of enrollment in the college to prospective students, parents and alumni.
The ambassadors report to Laykyn Rainbolt, coordinator of undergraduate student recruitment.
"With the experiences represented in our ambassador group, I'm confident we have someone who has been in your shoes on our team," Rainbolt says.
