University Recreation Invites Students to Use HPER Study Space During Finals

University Recreation offers an alternative location for students to study during finals week. From May 6 through 12, students are encouraged to use any open seating locations throughout the HPER Building for study purposes. Additionally, HPER 103 will be available to students for study use from 3-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, May 6-7, and from 3 p.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday, May 8-12.

"Recent renovations to the HPER building's second and third floors offer numerous seating and table arrangements for students to study.  These spaces also offer access to power and campus internet," said Mike Hoover, associate director for assessment, staff development and the Outdoors Program.

"We also hope that students will continue to practice wellness during this time by using our recreation and fitness offerings in order to manage the stress associated with finals week."
