Exercise Is Medicine Research Study

New year, new opportunity!

Looking for ways to become more physically active? Unsure how to get started when it comes to physical fitness? A research study is currently looking for U of A undergraduate and graduate students aged 18 or older who are physically inactive, able to perform regular physical activity, who can read/speak English and are free of severe mental disorders (i.e. severe bipolar disorder, severe major depression, personality disorder, high risk of suicide, etc.) to participate in the research study.

Participants will be asked to live their lives as normal and to complete two online questionnaires and in-person fitness assessments. Some participants will be asked to meet with a physical activity specialist every week for the course of four weeks. Completing both fitness assessments will result in a $50 Amazon e-gift card. Participants who did not have physical activity specialist sessions will be offered sessions after the conclusion of the study.

If interested in the study, please complete the quick questionnaire (takes about three minutes) or contact Bryce Daniels, bxd013@uark.edu.
