In celebration of LGBTQIA+ Pride Month, University Libraries staff are highlighting available print resources to further ongoing research. Lynaire Hartsell, user experience coordinator, has created a sample list of almost 100 books intended to provide various perspectives about the history of the LGBTQIA+ movement and enhance understanding of diversity, equity and inclusion. All are available for checkout to campus users.

While in Mullins, patrons are encouraged to take time to browse these selections. Some titles are currently on display on the lobby level, and these display items are also available for checkout.

"I am proud that the University of Arkansas Libraries have made a conscious decision to purchase books on LGBTQIA+ issues for its Diversity Initiatives Collection, including Stonewall Book Award winners," Hartsell said. "I am honored that I was allowed to choose books for the display this year."

Additional Pride Month resources from the libraries include a virtual display of items from the Children's Literature Collection and a physical display of audio and visual resources in Multimedia Services, as well as a Research Guide and new manuscript collection from Special Collections.
