OEOC and Tyson Center for Faith and Spirituality Host Religious Diversity and Sensitivity Workshop

The Office of Equal Opportunity and Compliance and the Walton College of Business Tyson Center for Faith and Spirituality in the Workplace are pleased to host a Religious Diversity and Sensitivity Workshop from 9-10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, via Zoom.
Please register for the workshop by Monday, Nov. 30. A Zoom link will be provided to individuals who register for the webinar.
The winter holiday season presents a wonderful opportunity for members of the university community to better understand the diverse faith perspectives represented in our community. This workshop will explore several of the upcoming winter holidays that many of our fellow faculty, staff, and student body will be celebrating.
The Tyson Center for Faith and Spirituality in the Workplace connects current and future business leaders across a variety of faith backgrounds and provides opportunities for increased understanding of diverse religious beliefs and values in the workplace.
The speaker, Denise Breaux Soignet, is the director of the Tyson Center for Faith and Spirituality in the Workplace and an associate professor of management in the Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas. She earned a doctorate in organizational behavior and human resource management from Florida State University and is a certified professional for the Society for Human Resource Management. Soignet develops and delivers innovative courses and executive education on workplace faith diversity and inclusion in her role as director of the Tyson Center for Faith and Spirituality in the Workplace. Her research has been published in premier journals such as Organizational Behavior & Human Decision Processes and the Journal of Management.
