Staff Appreciation Week is Oct. 7-11

The fifth annual Staff Appreciation Week at the University of Arkansas kicks off today, Monday, Oct. 7.

Throughout the week, U of A staff members can receive special discounts (with ID) at the following locations:

  • 25% off for U of A employees on clothing, gifts, general books and supplies — University Bookstore, Garland Ave Parking Garage
  • 10% off annual membership — redeem at UREC main office HPER 225
  • 15% off with ID — Hog Heaven, Located inside the main entrance of the Broyles Athletic Center
  • 10% off for U of A employees — Southern Food Co.
  • 10% off for U of A employees — Gearhead Outfitters, Dickson Street Location
  • U of A employee discount at Nothing Bundt Cakes, Rogers Location
  • Buy one/Get one at Chicken Salad Chick

To cap off the week, Staff Senate will be hosting a Friday Finale Social for all staff members on Friday, Oct. 11, on the South Terrace of the Arkansas Union from 11:30-2:00 p.m. This event will feature the K9 Officers from UAPD, Razorback Mascot, as well as music, ice cream, and other refreshments.

Finally, Arkansas Razorback athletics will be offering discounts to the following event:

Razorback Volleyball on Friday, Oct. 11
All University of Arkansas staff members will receive up to four complimentary tickets to the Razorback Volleyball match versus Florida at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, inside Barnhill Arena. Must show UA ID at the Barnhill Arena ticket window on gameday to receive this special promotion. Gates open at 6:00pm. Present your UA ID at the marketing table under Section Q to receive a voucher for a complimentary hot dog and soft drink.
