Submit Phone Requirements for the VoIP Phone Project

The University of Arkansas is modernizing communication on campus with a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) solution. During the spring 2019 semester, analog desk phones will be replaced with new VoIP-compatible phones.

In order to ensure a successful switch to VoIP, it is vitally important to collect accurate information about each phone currently in use on campus.

IT directors within the colleges and divisions have been hard at work collecting this information. If you have already been contacted regarding this, you do not need to submit your phone information again. If you have not, please complete the 2-minute survey before Friday, Dec. 21.

If you are responsible for multiple phones or lines, please complete additional surveys for each phone number.

Information Technology Services encourage you to attend the second town hall event at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, in the auditorium of Vol Walker Hall. The VoIP project team will present an overview of the project and answer your questions. They also will have models of each of the phones on display.

Contact Stephen Herzig, VoIP project director, with any questions you have.
