This year there are five chances to hear the distinct sounds of the season performed by Department of Music students in the J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences' UA Choral Studies program on campus and in Fayetteville. 

Performances include:

• Nov. 30, 7:30 p.m. — The Women's Chorus, Men's Chorus, and Chamber Choir will give a joint concert featuring holiday works for organ and brass, and the popular "Little Saint Nick" as recorded by the Beach Boys. Jim and Joyce Faulkner Performing Arts Center.
• Dec. 5, 7:30 p.m. — The Inspirational Chorale presents "An Inspired Christmas" that puts a Gospel twist on traditional tunes, including a full rock band on stage with the choir. Jim and Joyce Faulkner Performing Arts Center.
• Dec. 7, 7:30 p.m. — The Schola Cantorum presents its annual "A Child's Christmas in Wales," in which music is interpolated into a full reading of the famous Dylan Thomas poem by professor Henry Runkles. Jim and Joyce Faulkner Performing Arts Center.
• Dec. 9,  6 p.m., 6:45 p.m., and 7:30 p.m. — The Link Ensemble will present three quick "Pop-Up" concerts of carols in the Pryor Center Atrium on the Fayetteville Square during the Lights of the Ozarks. The Link Ensemble is a local all-pro vocal ensemble that includes some current students and recent alumni. Free Admission.
• Dec. 16, 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. — Schola Cantorum will appear with the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas at the Walton Arts Center on Dickson Street as part of "A Very SoNA Christmas," singing a new a cappella arrangment of "O Holy Night" by Stephen Caldwell, and choruses from Handel's Messiah.
