Legendary Musicians Give Workshop on UA Campus

The MVP Jazz Quartet will give a jazz workshop on the U of A campus. This dynamic and legendary group have performed individually around the world but will collectively work with students together in Fayetteville. Kansas City native and former musical director of Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers, saxophonist Bobby Watson frontlines the band of leaders along with "The Tonight Show" alumnus, drummer Marvin "Smitty" Smith; veteran bassist Ray "Bulldog" Drummond; and revered pianist Donald Brown.
